EcoStage
The Project
The EcoStage project began in 2009 when Pitch Black began to actively seek ways to reduce its carbon footprint. The EcoStage is a complete small stage package that runs entirely from renewable or low emission sources. Even the vehicles we use run on LPG or Biodiesel.
EcoStage boasts a minimum 27% reduction of carbon emission compared with an equivalent mobile stage trailer with lighting and PA.
The EcoStage has a performance area of 7m x 4m (as shown in photograph right) OR 7m x 6m (as shown in photographs above and lower right) when the back side deck is also used. The stage can rigged with LED lighting rig and PA system running from battery or LPG or Biodiesel generator resources (depending on length of event and whether we have enough sunshine or wind to replenish our batteries!).
At every stage of its construction, attention has been given to the potential environmental impact of the project. The EcoStage has been constructed from re-claimed and recycled materials as far as possible.
